'Heart of the Earth' Prints	@
"Heart of the Earth embraces the dark and the light, the moon and the sun. It calls us to cherish ourselves, to cherish this miracle Earth. And to give thanks."		Heart of the Earth Clio talks about the creation of this image; "My birthday. Staying in a cave on a Dartmoor Tor. Grieving loss, meeting with death. Sleeping. Waking. Looking at the cave wall I discerned some marks. Looking more carefully I traced the outline of a woman sitting. Amazing! A faded cave painting! Then I remembered I had drawn it a year before. Getting up I pulled a charred stick from last night's fire. I redrew Her, adding her hands, shaping a heart at her belly, just as I, myself, had been sitting, focussing love for myself. That afternoon I took a piece of cloth, my pigments and brushes to a big, smooth rock in the centre of the River Dart. Embraced in beauty, alone with the sight and sound of cascading water, I spread out the cloth and painted Her as my healing. Her round belly became the Earth. We are of the Earth. We are one.
