This practice builds on Connection by opening up our understanding to our relation to others, reaching out to them and sharing who we are. Establishing a new intimacy through storytelling, performance, communication. Things that touch hearts and minds of other living beings, rather than their bodies.

- We learn to reach through the study of Nihon Buyo relevant to Maiko practice. Being present on the stage, leading people through a story of dance, recognising their own individual experience of the tales we tell. This is relevant to the Maiko level of the Hachisu Okiya.
